
ESU Centre for Speech and Debate
The ESU Centre was created in 1996 to formalise the English-Speaking Union's speech and debate programmes. It is overseen by a committee of debate alumni and other interested parties who are:

The committee meets quarterly and ESU Centre staff attend meetings in an ex-officio capacity. The committee is also responsible for selection of the British Debate Squad.
