The Schools Mace:
Advance dates for 2008-09

The first and second rounds of the competition are arranged by the schools taking part in the individual heats between October and February. However, to help you plan in advance, we have fixed the dates of all later rounds. Even if you’re not in them, feel free to bring a minibus of younger students and come along to watch—it can be a great way to introduce your future teams to the format!

• Monday 23 February: Eastern Area Final, Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Boys
• Wednesday 25 February: London Area Final, St Paul’s School and Southern Area Final, Skinners’ School
• Thursday 26 February: Central Area Final, King Edward VI College, Stourbridge and Western Area Final, The Cheltenham Ladies’ College
• Friday 27 February: Northern Area Final (venue TBC)

We’re very grateful to last year’s Area Champions for generously agreeing to host the Area Finals in 2009.

The England Final will be on Friday 27 March at Dartmouth House in London, and the International Final will be on Saturday 2 May in the Temple of Peace in Cardiff (by kind permission of the Welsh Centre for International Affairs).
